Great recording! I just tried the product for myself. 1. Layer it on thick! 2. Don’t do it for less than 20 mins. I used the dark brown colour. Yes, the tint looks a bit green on skin. I have thin eyebrow hairs, so it looks great where there are lots of hairs, but not where there are only a few. Unfortunately I will go back to using a brow pencil – it allows more even coverage.

For the brow product, I wonder if you could use a lighter shade/layer of the stain and then “fill” it with a pencil or powder to make it look more natural. Ty so much for sampling the Maybelline tattoo studio brow kit! I have such light, light eyebrows… even lighter and harder to see than your natural brows so yeah this looks like something that I could handle and enjoy using better than trying to draw on brows freehanded every morning. My hands shake too much for freehand. Right now I’ve been using L’oreal brow stylist frame & set pomade in #214 shade of warm brunette using a dip brush with spoolie …. which in itself may be part of my problem ? I never wore make up my entire life because I never learned the right application techniques and so if I wore make up I looked “clownish” … now that I’ll be 52 its mostlly out of necessity that I am eager to learn some basic application skills … minimally how to have decent looking eyebrows is my top priority. For me, if I have pretty eyebrows on the only other makeup I need is a nice shade of lipstick, some eyeliner, mascara and blush. Thats about it. Although my 22 year old daughter taught me a quick couple trick application techniques practicing at applying..

This is great. Better than microblading and by the way when you have it done the finish on the inside is just the same as with thevtatoo from Maybelline. Thanks God with the ratio you get rid of it which can not be done with the microblading. Once it is on your eyebrows it will stay there for ever. I have a friend that looks so bad the microblading that frightens me. I like this ratio for your eyebrows.
Love the tattoo brow liner. I’m in new Zealand we currently sell it normally at supermarket countdown for $22.00 on sale. I’m light brown with whitesh streaks not too too many but feel my eyebrows too light with light brown that below one you got. As we only sell 3 colors blonde, light brown then one u have used. We normally leave 90mins and last weeks which I was super shock. So this something else to no if leave longer last longer, just found this one goes golden yellow ginger ish not really light brown. Just can’t afford new lot to buy so dealing with it. I have a friend who’s gone got microbraiding tattoo ink into skin eyebrows lasts 5 Yr plus looks amazing if get right person to do it as should be natural as too how eyebrows are. Amazing but in nz its like $450.00 for initial then $150 retouch after month then one more siting for final check $150 some don’t need go back as total fine leave it till need go back. So see this what saying for.
Can’t find this product in any store. Online when I find it the price is ridiculous $19.99 or I can’t find dark brown. I have only found three online stores, one of them has horrible reviews. I feel like this is an extremely popular product OR something is wrong with it and Maybelline is pulling it back. You have the green tint I’ve see others complaining about.
I’m so disappointed. I bought this stuff today. The first time I applied it and tried to take it off after 20 min. It was impossible to peel. The second time I left it on for 1 hour (I thought it maybe wasn’t dry the first time). But again, it just felt like thick, black tar. And I did everything exactly the same. I had to remove it with soap and still it was difficult to get it of. Maybe the hair of my own eyebrows are to long/ thick? Because it doesn’t leave much pigment on my skin either. I really looked forward to using this… But now I’m disappointed.
This is ok but for me it just doesn’t last. When it fades it just looks like a dark fake tan, it has a real bad orange undertone (I use the darker shade). I’ve tried all lengths of time, I’ve even left it on over night, still no better, I’m lucky if I get 24hrs out of it. What I did find that was handy is I took it on holiday so I could go in the pool with eyebrows and no need for make-up
2 hours just for 3 days? Fuck that. BROW HACK LADIES. Buy the “just for men” beard color and use it on ur brows instead and it lasts a few weeks and it’s AMAZING and WAY better than this. Just try it. It lasts long for tinting ur brows And the product lasts a long time so u can just tint ur brows whenever u need to. I fell in LOVE with it. It was really smart.
You are beautiful without this product. I am fair skin with auburn hair. My eyebrows are blondish. When I was young, I used to use hair dye auburn (which is supposed to be dangerous if it gets in your eyes so you have to be very careful!!) before I got in the shower about twice a month. I would use a qtip and apply it onto the brows themselves and wait about 20 or 30 minutes. Then I would wipe the dye off with tissues. Then I would get in the shower for my regular hair wash/body wash and carefully use another washcloth to wash my eyebrows gently being careful not to get any of the dye in my eyes (which I never did). They would turn out perfectly the shape of my own eyebrows but the color I desired. It was the perfect answer for me. I would reseal the bottles tightly and could continue using the same dye every time until gone. Much less expensive.
