In the realm of music, tattoos often symbolize significant emotions, manifesting in various songs that explore themes of love and loss. Charlesworth praises Pete Townshend's "Tattoo" as "one of his finest 'rite of passage' songs," while Grantley and Parker highlight its universal resonance and emotional depth. Jordin Sparks’ "Tattoo" is noted for its poignant lyrics, reflecting permanence and meaning associated with body art. In the rock genre, tracks like "Tattoo Vampire" by Blue Öyster Cult tell unique stories, such as that of a tattooed vampire—a metaphorical character rich with narrative potential. Tattoos can hold personal significance, often drawing inspiration from favorite song lyrics. Tattoo artists frequently encounter clients wishing to immortalize lyrics, utilizing their skills to create meaningful ink designs. From classic rock to pop and R&B, a broad array of songs celebrates body art, whether showcasing new tattoos, faded designs, or regrettable choices.

Loreen's "Tattoo," a notable entry from her Eurovision Song Contest triumph, exemplifies the connection between music and self-expression. The song achieved remarkable streaming numbers, breaking records shortly after the Eurovision final, highlighting its resonance with audiences. While opinions on its composition may vary, its impact within the genre and competition context is undeniable.

  • First of all….LOREEN is a Master Vocalist. Why she is so underrated, should be questioned. That said, “Tattoo”, sung AND won Eurovision is sooo beautifully and artistically done. Now hearing Loreen sing Tattoo, acoustically… WoW. Her acoustic version is even more majestic, more magical, more emotionally heartfelt. I hope this song somehow reaches the USA and she becomes the vocal sensation that she is and deserves.

  • I don’t understand why people think she didn’t deserve to win. In my mind, I think she was the most accomplished, thrilling, touching, sensational and professional artist out there on the stage. She really stood out from the other artists by the simplicity and yet beauty of staging, by her very very touching way of singing and feeling the song, by her stage presence and by her vocal skills. She was absolutely magnetic and she sang her heart out. That’s what I personnally look for in music and she did it brilliantly! :)))

  • the fact that the internet has somehow convinced themselves that this woman won because the contest is rigged and that this song was bad just because they wanted something silly to win…. MADNESS is all I can say. there’s a good reason she won the contest twice. she’s simply really good. that’s it. no conspiracy.

  • Please make more music in this minimal manner.. the voice so powerful.. light synths and melody’s in the background is just perfection .. simplicity yet so powerful.. even the article is perfect don’t need any crazy visuals either just her and her incredible emotion that takes the listener on a journey .. pure magic 😊…

  • Loreen and her music got me through some really rough times. Before I was diagnosed with autism and a lot of related mental illnesses from going years without getting help and being misunderstood and misinterpreted by my environment, I would play her albums on repeat and get lost in the melodies and her voice. It bordered on obsessive how much I would listen to her songs. However, it felt like therapy, and it really felt like the music plated me in armor, giving me more strength to withstand the daily storm. She calmed my anxiety while also making my heart race – her voice makes me feel expressed and understood, in a way I don’t know how to explain properly. She’ll always be my favorite artist for her talent alone. With the impact she’s had when I really needed it I’ll always be grateful to her. I hope she wins Eurovision a second time with this song <3

  • I don’t wanna go But baby, we both know This is not our time It’s time to say goodbye Until we meet again ‘Cause this is not the end It will come a day When we will find our way Violins playing and the angels crying When the stars align then I’ll be there No, I don’t care about them all ‘Cause all I want is to be loved And all I care about is you You’re stuck on me like a tattoo No, I don’t care about the pain I’ll walk through fire and through rain Just to get closer to you You’re stuck on me like a tattoo I’m letting my hair down I’m taking it cool You got my heart in your hand Don’t lose it, my friend It’s all that I got Violins playing and the angels crying When the stars align then I’ll be there No, I don’t care about them all ‘Cause all I want is to be loved And all I care about is you You’re stuck on me like a tattoo No, I don’t care about the pain I’ll walk through fire and through rain Just to get closer to you You’re stuck on me like a tattoo No, I don’t care about them all ‘Cause all I want is to be loved And all I care about is you You’re stuck on me like a tattoo I don’t care about the pain I’ll walk through fire and through rain Just to get closer to you You’re stuck on me like a tattoo All I care about is love Oh, oh, oh All I care about is love You’re stuck on me like a tattoo Traduzir para o português

  • Her performance in the Eurovision final struck me as on a different professional level compared to any of the others. This was such an accomplished artist on that stage. Not just vocals but her stage representation as a whole, it was in a way simple, but so refined, so deep and expressive, I’d like to use a cliche word: so “artistic.” It really was. When her song started it quickly felt dream-like, but as if perusal someone else’s dream, like a fracture in the space-time of the event. Felt like a highest quality, premium music article, but it was live, and in a highest profile contest. Unreal. Her performance was class-apart for me, clearly on a different level. I voted for her in fact wondering whether she could have reached into many others the way she had reached into me. Clearly she did, and I am so happy she did. Best in show doubtlessly. In fact not just for this year’s contest but even including many other Eurovision contests.

  • I don’t understand why people are angry for Loreen winning Eurovision 2023!? She’s definitely music herself. 💫 She’s ahead of our time! Her voice is pure magic, the performance full of heart and passion and reminds me so much of mother nature, the instrumental and lyrics from another world! I fell in love with the the song the first time I heard it. She derseved to win in my truly opinion. Congrats Sweden 🇸🇪👏🏻💙 Much love from 🇵🇹

  • Energy is zapping like electricity! I am in love with the voice and the song. I can just play it on repeat like some sort of mantra, and it just does its magic… This acoustic version emits maturity, right click of performer and her spirit, I can feel power of creativity, from one artist to another. Sky is the limit! Well done chica! I just became your fan 😉 Make more music, NOW is the time!

  • I totally agree with the previous comment… Always tears of joy when listening to Loreen. For me, coming back of Loreen to Eurovision with such a powerful song is like a rebirth. Is like a new cycle in my life 🙂 I love her so so much! All my prayers for your win, dear Loreen, and strongest hugs from Ukraine!

  • A very, very accomplished cover version this is! What a pleasant surprise to hear “Tattoo” as an ambient track. The synthesizers sound like the old Moogs from the 1970s. Overall, the ambience on this track reminds us of those other Scandinavians, “The Knife”. Loreen could probably do a whole cover-album with different versions of “Tattoo” and in the past, she’s already proved that she can wonderfully blend her voice with ambient soundscapes. Let’s hope we get to hear more musical surprises from her. Keep going, Loreen: you’ve got us interested!

  • Ever since this version was out to light, I listen to it countless of times per day and I never got bored of it neither did it fail to express my feelings or even touch my heart because of the unsaid words i have that this song has said on my behalf. #Loreen, whether she won awards or not yet, SHE IS INDEED EPIC, for real ♥

  • Wow what a beautiful song and sang from such a beautiful woman.I can’t stop listening to it. You sing it like it is coming from your heart and soul. As you sing your expressions simply amaze me. If it means anything to you I never reached out to an artist and expressed my feelings like I am doing for you. God bless you and keep singing songs that have meaning and not all nasty crap. I will follow you and look forward to more great hits from you.

  • WOW, just WOW! You can pure see the emotion in this performance. I thought the Eurovision version was amazing, but this is something else! It’s my new favourite. Gonna be constantly on repeat! The arrangement is just brilliant, the vocals on point, the raw talent this woman has is unreal! I absolutely loved her singing Euphoria and was blown away! She reminds me very much of Kate Bush when performing on stage, Loreen you are a phenomenal artist. I do wonder if you even know how good you are!? Hopefully get to see you in concert. **anyone else find the constant mispronunciation of her name at the 2023 Eurovision in Liverpool, UK, an absolute “grrrrrrr” moment!? Mel done my head in! Her name is LOREEN, (loreeeeeeeen, not LOREEEEAANN!) rant over! 😂😂 Let’s go back to the ‘Nort’ presenting and giving commentary. Far better. At least their names are pronounced properly!

  • You’ll find me in the echo of the dark Workin’ on the riddle of your heart Lost you in a maze, now let me out Is it love? Is it love? Is it love? Without a warning, without a sign Will you call me or will you hide? There’s a shadow in my mind How do I know it? Is it love? Tell me, where in your heart am I now? Is it love? Is it love? Is it love? Tell me, what do you feel in the night? Is it love? Is it love? Is it love? Is it love? Is it love? Tell me, how do you sleep when I’m not by your side? Is it love? Is it love? Is it love? You’ll find me in the middle of the sea Drownin’ in the words that we don’t speak Bring me out, don’t leave me in the deep Is it love? Is it love? Is it love? Without a warning, without a sign Will you call me or will you hide? There’s a shadow, oh, in my mind How do I know it? Is it love? Tell me, where in your heart am I now? Is it love? Is it love? Is it love? Tell me, what do you feel in the night? Is it love? Is it love? Is it love? Is it love? Is it love? Tell me, how do you sleep when I’m not by your side? Is it love? Is it love? Is it love?
