Is Brea Liom Tu Tattoo?

5.0 rating based on 199 ratings

“Is breá liom tú” is an Irish phrase meaning “I love” or “I adore”. It is pronounced as iss brah lum tou and can be used to express love or adoration towards someone. The word “tú” is the Irish word for “you”. If you want to express your love or adoration in Irish, you can say “Is breá liom” which translates to “I love” or “I adore”.

In this video, we will learn how to pronounce “I love you” in Irish. The literal translation for “I love you” is “Is breá liom tú”, which is also pronounced iss braw lee-um. Referring to someone as “mo stór” is likely one of the subtle differences between the two phrases.

Is brea liom tú and Is aobhinn liom tú both mean “I love you” unless there is a subtle difference in meaning. Can anyone translate Scottish or Irish Gaelic to English? A man with a tattoo on his arm that says “who potato ammat?” can help clarify the meaning of these phrases.

One can say “Is breá liom é” to mean “I like/love it”, but the “is breá” does not mean “love” by itself or stand alone in any case.

  • I think the wettest I’ve been was in Northern Nevada. I believe it was October. I started the day camping at the Alvord Desert in Southern Oregon. The rain started about the time I got on the road, and rained hard all the way to Winnemucca. About noon I pulled into a hotel that had a covered entrance and asked if they had a room. I was soaking wet and had decided to end the day early. They said check-in was 3PM. Standing next to my bike, I considered my options: I could stand around, soaking wet for three hours, or I could get on the bike soaking wet and ride. I rode. South of Winnemucca, the skies cleared, and within about two hours, I was dry. I think my final stop that day was Fallon.

  • Bravo to you, Kinga for handling those tough conditions. The Canadian far north is a whole different ball game weather wise, and it looks like you really experienced that first hand! I did the same trip from Ontario a few years back so your articles are bringing back all the memories for me. Regards from Canada.

  • Louis L’Amour believed “Adventure is just a romantic word for trouble”. Your “Adventures” generally involve steep rocky roads or deep sand. I don’t recall rain, wind and hail being one of your adventures in the past. But I’m old and I tend to forget. Seeing the gift kangaroos made me wonder if you ever hear from Bacon? Does he ever text, write, call or send word back through shared aquaintances as to what he’s doing or where he is now?

  • Idk why but I just enjoy the creative side of asmr so so so much. I have such a short attention span and I get bored of the typical asmr “triggers” but these are the only asmr articles that I’ll actually watch the whole thing and not click off. I really appreciate creators like you so much, you’re the reason I sleep.

  • I am a new subscriber, and I have quite quickly become obsessed with this character! I believe I have now seen all three that he is featured in, but I don’t think it was in chronological order. No matter! You have done a masterful job of taking the rather stale ASMR genre of the cranial nerve exam and reinterpreting it in wonderfully comic ways. All of the standard tropes are there. But the opening paperwork with Nurse Ratched of “Cuckoo’s Nest” fame serving as the witness for the good doctor’s indemnity clause was priceless! Later on when it is revealed that this whole appointment was to test the patient for insanity, all of this becomes all the more hilarious! I also love those moments when the doctor literally lunges at the camera (us!) with that bizarre metal contraption, that I believe is used in ASMR articles from “our times!” Those moments when the doctor punches a hole in the fourth wall and acknowledges that he is but a character in a historical ASMR article had me laughing out loud! Anyway, I could go on and on about the various moments that I loved, but I hope you get the idea! This is some truly first rate work. And your writing and acting talents are particularly marvelous. I look forward to whatever comes next!! 🕊😳❤️👁🙏😱

  • this is so wild cuz i have an absolutely disgusting cold rn like the really annoying ones with the gross cough that lasts forever and i keep joking that i’m like a sickly victorian child/in my sickly victorian child era and now this was the first thing on my recommended. the stars aligned for me to find this asmr article

  • Doctors of these times were students, actively learning their crafts and things about it as they were practicing. They also unintentionally experimented on patients as there was no real groundwork for what was ethical practice. But their hearts (mostly) were in the right place, and if not for them we wouldn’t have modern medicine without them laying the foundation.

  • How did I miss that you did another historical doctor article? Something about these is incredibly relaxing. I’m scared of real doctors, but I can make it through these articles no problem. You have to love a doctor claiming to be up on “modern technology” and then he whips out the phrenology head and asks when you had your last bloodletting. Anyway, these are awesome, and hopefully now that I’m commenting I’ll actually get notifications for your articles.

  • I set notifications to all so ill never miss another of these amazing uploads you make. You are the best at historical and fantasy roles!! I love all of your articles. Thank you for all your hard work, it is evident in the quality of your articles that you spare no effort. It is much appreciated. I watch and listen while I knit and before I go to sleep. Thank you again! Be well! 🤗🤗

  • Just started the vid and am about to go to sleep- your voice and manner of speaking has been scratching an itch in my otherwise unbearably busy brain for a couple weeks now and so as thanks, I am commenting (despite usually being a silent watcher) to help push up the engagement on your articles!! I hope the algorithm finds you and gives you the attention you and your lovely articles deserve one day!! <3

  • Since this article just says Victorian age and doesn’t specify the location, it could be in France, specifically at the point of time when the Chandlier at the Palas Garnier fell Since the point of time when the chandelier fell was during the Victorian age Yes, this comment does have to with ‘Phantom of The Opera’ and I’m aware of the slightly obsessive fascination I have with it

  • I have so many mixed thoughts in my mind and been a bit busy that I didn’t knew about what you wrote in the ‘Public Announcement’, I have the bell 🔔 on ‘All’ mode in mostly every YouTuber I follow because I like and care about their content. In my case your articles have always appeared when you upload them, your community posts too, even when I didn’t had time to watch asmr articles. I will keep perusal your articles no matter what. 🌻
