What Happened To The Sara Tattoo On Undertakers Neck?

The Undertaker, a WWE wrestler, had a tattoo on his neck that was a wedding gift to his former wife, Sara Frank. After their divorce in 2007, the Undertaker covered up the tattoo from his throat and now has a chain design on his neck, a creative modification of the previous tattoo of Sara. One of Undertaker’s tattoos was on his throat that read “SARA”, which was a tribute to his second wife, Sara Frank. After seven years of marriage, the couple called it quits, and Undertaker had his ex-wife’s name covered up.

The Undertaker once had the name of his first wife Sara engraved onto the front of his neck as a gesture to show her how much he loved her. However, after the couple divorced, the tattoo became prominently visible during his run as The American Badass, Big Evil, and even his return as The Phenom. After the divorce, he needed to cover upcover-up tattoos, such as the lyric “Youll Never Walk Alone” and the tattoo of Bellerophon that covered it up.

The Undertaker has an incredible set of tattoos all over him, but one of the most painful aspects of tattooing is the neck. In 1999, he had a serious injury on his hip bones, requiring surgery and extensive tattooing to symbolize his love for her. In the WWE’s Unscripted book, Undertaker said, “A wedding ring, you can”.

Despite his portrayal of The Deadman on screen, making a tattoo on the throat is painful, as it is one of the most sensitive areas of the body.
