Michael Geier, an American singer and entertainer based in Atlanta, Georgia, is known for his Pagliacci-inspired clown alter ego Puddles Pity Party. Puddles is a gentle, silent giant who walks on stage wearing a whiteface costume. At just 7 feet tall, Puddles doesn’t speak or smile and seems haunted by an air of melancholy. He also formed Tongo Hiti, an eclectic Tiki bar band, and has developed a cabaret clown act called Puddles Pity Party.

Geier is best known for appearing in viral videos where he is dressed as a sad clown and sings popular songs in a sad voice. He is also known for getting a tattoo by Phil Colvin, a badass and a terrific fella, and Bobcat. Puddles is an expressive and humorous character that shows what it is to be frail and human. He does not speak, only sings, and all ink pens have red, white, or blue artificial carnation flowers taped to the end of them. Real carnations would have been more classy.

Was Mr. Six A Woman?

Initially, Mr. Six had a non-speaking role in Six Flags commercials, with the identity of the actor kept secret for a time. Eventually, it was revealed that Mr. Six was portrayed by choreographer Danny Teeson, although some speculated that a woman might have played the part, which would have been intriguing. Paul Davidson reportedly was among the first to confirm, through anonymous sources, that it was indeed Teeson who brought the beloved character to life.

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, the world's largest regional theme park company, reported $1. 5 billion in revenue in 2019 and operates 27 parks across the U. S., Canada, and Mexico. The ad campaign featuring Mr. Six was created by American advertising agency Doner Advertising. The character, who became iconic for his playful and frenetic dance performances, was introduced to invite stressed individuals to enjoy the theme park experience.

Mr. Six, active from 2004 to 2010, was characterized as an elderly man in a tuxedo and thick-framed glasses. The ads often showcased him stepping off a bus before breaking into a lively dance to an instrumental version of the Vengaboys’ "We Like to Party." This memorable portrayal led many viewers, including some who believed he was actually a woman in costume, to find his antics entertaining yet comical.

Interestingly, rumors of an alternate performer persisted, one time leading to speculation of a woman impersonating Mr. Six at Great America, which added to the confusion. Despite the varied opinions about the character's portrayal, the general sentiment was that Mr. Six evoked a mix of nostalgia and bewilderment.

Teeson's background predominantly as a dancer and choreographer earned him the spotlight for this quirky role. Mr. Six's eccentric style and the peculiar nature of the character led to a memorable impression on audiences, reinforcing his status in popular culture even years after his retirement from the commercials. Teeson’s portrayal has remained a topic of conversation long after the character's last appearance, showcasing the lasting impact of Mr. Six.

How Old Is Clown

How Old Is Clown?

The history of clowns dates back to ancient times, with the earliest clowns discovered in the Fifth Dynasty of Egypt around 2400 BCE. Unlike court jesters, clowns played essential socio-religious and psychological roles in society, often serving as both priests and entertainers. Their origins evolved significantly, influencing various cultural practices, from ritualistic performances in ancient Egypt to the highly stylized acts in modern circuses.

In literature, clowns have taken on darker representations, exemplified by Stephen King's character Pennywise from his 1986 horror novel, "It." This malevolent entity, known for shapeshifting, preys on the children of Derry, Maine, appearing every 27 years under the guise of a sinister clown. Simultaneously, this fictional creature is characterized as an ancient, trans-dimensional being with gruesome capabilities.

Contemporary clowning also manifests in various forms, including Tommy the Clown, who pioneered the dance style known as "clowning" in the 1990s, which later evolved into krumping. His influence is documented in the film "Rize," and his performances have reached notable audiences, including celebrities. Additionally, Kimmi The Clown, a popular YouTuber with 1. 5 million subscribers, showcases the family-friendly aspect of clowning in her coloring videos.

In the music arena, Michael Shawn Crahan, known as "Clown," is a founding member and percussionist of the heavy metal band Slipknot, further highlighting the versatility of the clown persona in modern culture. The image of clowns often evokes feelings of joy and laughter, characterized by distinctive makeup, costumes, and humorous antics. However, this duality of representation—from joyous entertainers to frightening figures—adds complexity to their history.

Despite ancient origins, the term "clown" itself emerged in the 16th century. Joseph Grimaldi, a notable figure in English theatrical history, is recognized as one of the first true circus clowns, debuting in 1805. This evolution reflects the clowns' ongoing cultural significance and adaptability. While some clowns are celebrated for inducing laughter, others, like Pennywise and Art the Clown from the "Terrifier" franchise, exploit fears associated with clowns, illustrating the character's multifaceted history and ongoing evolution.

How Do You Not Have A Pity Party

How Do You Not Have A Pity Party?

To shift out of a self-imposed pity party, one can benefit greatly from cultivating an attitude of gratitude. Instead of wallowing in feelings of self-pity, focusing on what we are thankful for can dramatically alter our mindset, making it harder to feel sorry for ourselves. It's essential to express emotions without getting stuck in negativity. While it’s natural to experience sadness, it’s crucial to have a strategy for overcoming it.

Setting a time limit for moments of self-pity can be beneficial. For instance, allowing oneself a brief time—say five minutes—to acknowledge feelings of sadness can prevent these emotions from being bottled up. After this time, shifting focus toward actionable steps or positive thoughts is vital.

Additionally, one should evaluate whether the feelings experienced are due to a genuine pity party or possibly burnout, especially in high-pressure situations like high school. Acknowledging symptoms of self-deprecation, discouragement, and doubt may hold the key to moving forward.

To facilitate the exit from a pity party, it's essential to refrain from enabling others who might be stuck in their own self-pity. Compassion doesn’t always mean indulging in someone’s misery; sometimes, it means providing constructive support that encourages them to focus on healing.

One should also recognize the specific triggers that lead to feelings of pity. Understanding the root causes of one's emotions can empower individuals to address them head-on. Adopting a fresh perspective can enable growth, shifting one’s mindset from victimhood to one of agency and empowerment.

Moreover, distractions can serve as valuable tools in combating self-pity. Engaging in activities that challenge and uplift can help redirect attention from unproductive thoughts. Avoiding environments that encourage self-indulgent negativity—like pity parties—can also contribute to a healthier mindset.

Ultimately, fostering gratitude, setting boundaries, and choosing to seek help are invaluable steps in overcoming self-pity and achieving a more positive existence. Embracing the struggles we do not have, rather than dwelling on the ones we do, may lead to greater happiness and contentment.

By focusing on these strategies, anyone can transform their emotional landscape and replace the weight of self-pity with the uplifting power of gratitude.

  • Wherever this band goes from here, I can only hope that they know how much this music means to so many of us. How much these songs have resonated… If it is true that “nothing lasts forever”, I’m glad that I had the privilege of being here while it did and for as long as it continues. Thank you, Sleep Token. Worship.

  • “I guess it goes to show does it not, We’ve no idea what we’ve got until we lose it, no amount of love will keep it around if we dont choose it.” This part hit me somewhere so deep that it took me back to my childhood, and it broke me. It is very rare when a song can bring out such deep emotions of anger, love and hate. This song did it!

  • Take Me Back To Eden Song by Sleep Token I dream in phosphorescence Bleed through spaces See you drifting past the fog But no one told you where to go We dive through crystal waters, perfect oceans But no one told me not to breathe And now the weightlessness recedes My, my, those eyes like fire I’m a winged insect, you’re a funeral pyre Come now, bite through these wires I’m a waking hell and the gods grow tired Reset my patient violence along both lines of a pathway higher Grow back your sharpest teeth, you know my desire I will travel far beyond the path of reason Take me back to Eden, take me back to Eden Take me back to Eden Well yeah, I spit blood when I wake up Sink porcelain stained, choking up brain matter and makeup Just two days since the mainframe went down and I’m still messed up Room feels like a meat freezer, I dangle in it like cold cuts Missed calls, answered phones from people I just don’t trust Mirror talk, fake love But I’ll take a pound of your flesh Before you take a piece of my paystub White roses, black doves, Godmother, rise up I need you to see me for what I have become My, my, those eyes like fire I’m a winged insect, you’re a funeral pyre Come now, bite through these wires I’m a waking hell and the gods grow tired Reset my patient violence along both lines of a pathway higher Grow back your sharpest teeth, you know my desire I guess it goes to show, does it not? That we’ve no idea what we’ve got until we lose it And no amount of love will keep it around If we don’t choose it And I don’t know what’s got its teeth in me But I’m about to bite back in anger No amount of self-sought fury Will bring back the glory of innocence My, my, those eyes like fire I’m a winged insect, you’re a funeral pyre Come now, bite through these wires I’m a waking hell and the gods grow tired Reset my patient violence along both lines of a pathway higher Grow back your sharpest teeth, you know my desire I have traveled far beyond the path of reason Take me back to Eden Take me back to Eden :face-blue-smiling:

  • My brother introduced me to this song right before Christmas 23. I instantly fell in love with this song and had this on repeat for a week straight. This was literally the only song I listened to until I branched out to another Sleep Token song. I’ve not stopped listening to them for over a year, almost exclusively. I have never been so captivated by a band. I’m a winged insect and their music is a funeral pyre. Worship!

  • “No amount of self-sought fury will bring back the glory of innocence” Earlier, I stumbled upon old pictures I hadn’t seen in a long time. They brought memories of all kind. Feels like a million past lives sought through. I see these captured glimpses and I remember how I felt at those exact moments. I see myself through a loop from everything in between who I am, what I’ve been through, where I’ve been and where I am now. Seeing these exact moments right before storms, those glorious moments of innocence and the loaded dreams that left me empty. And how unaware I was of what was going to hit, and everything that was lost underneath. That line flashed through my mind in those instants and hit like a hurricane. How diluted the concept of time gets. You think it doesn’t have as much of an impact and there you are years later, waking up far below the surface unaware you’ve been drowning all along. It feels like I’ve recently woken up. It’s a painful but cathartic eye opening and I can only seek to weaponize it to build my strength. If you are reading this, I want you to know you are more than a Vessel. You’re of the heavens and the stars, a carved constellation flowing beyond life and death. The melodies of your soul sing to wake the constant rebirth of infinity. Let your stars align again. Thank you for colliding mine.

  • There’s a very sad and melancholy nostalgia to this man’s voice. Yeah, these songs are very personal to him, and it shows. Also, can we just appreciate how beautiful his voice is? That gift should not go without mentioning. It’s as if a man is striving for a feeling of completeness he lost a long time ago.

  • LYRICS: I dream in phosphorescence Bleed through spaces See you drifting past the fog But no one told you where to go We dive through crystal waters, perfect oceans But no one told me not to breathe And now the weightlessness recedes My, my, those eyes like fire I’m a winged insect, you’re a funeral pyre Come now, bite through these wires I’m a waking hell and the gods grow tired Reset my patient violence along both lines of a pathway higher Grow back your sharpest teeth, you know my desire I will travel far beyond the path of reason Take me back to Eden, take me back to Eden Take me back to Eden Well yeah, I spit blood when I wake up Sink porcelain stained, choking up brain matter and makeup Just two days since the mainframe went down and I’m still messed up Room feels like a meat freezer, I dangle in it like cold cuts Missed calls, answered phones from people I just don’t trust Mirror talk, fake love But I’ll take a pound of your flesh Before you take a piece of my paystub White roses, black doves, Godmother, rise up I need you to see me for what I have become My, my, those eyes like fire I’m a winged insect, you’re a funeral pyre Come now, bite through these wires I’m a waking hell and the gods grow tired Reset my patient violence along both lines of a pathway higher Grow back your sharpest teeth, you know my desire I guess it goes to show, does it not? • It used to be “I love you” Now it’s “My, my, those eyes like fire I’m a winged insect you’re a funeral pyre Come now bite through these wires I’m in waking hell and the gods grow tired Reset my patient violence, along both lines of a pathway higher Grow back your sharpest teeth you know my desire.

  • I’ve been an atheist for about eight years, but for some reason, when I listen to this song, it feels like… it feels like I’m meeting God directly, singing in front of me, and every harmony pierces right into my heart. I don’t know why this is happening or if Vessel and his band are truly connected to God? I don’t know, but I really enjoy the song and the feeling it gives me.

  • I hiked up a mountain on shrooms and listened to this on repeat….brought me to literal tears in visioning the separation of humans from our Lord in the garden of Eden..and how we desperately wanna get that perfection back… With our tortured selfs unclean selfs., and how there is a literal guardian of the Lord blocking the gates to Eden…

  • I’m not here to spill my guts but just know that we’re all going through something and when this gift of a man sings “And I don’t know what’s got it’s teeth in me, but I’m about to bite back in anger”…….. I could literally SOAR through the sky. The emotion and lyrical genius this man has been gifted is absolutely unmatched. Every song on this album pulls me in every emotional direction you can imagine. Fan for life. 🖤

  • “And I don’t know what’s got it’s teeth in me, but I’m about to bite back in anger” just hits really hard for me. When I’ve been trough a rough patch either by a known or unknown reason I just have to fight it back harder than it hit me. This song is just an amazing experience start to end! Hope that Sleep Token will come out with more like this!

  • Been here since ‘Jaws’. For lot of us Sleep Token has pulled us through a deeply personal and incredibly artistic journey. It almost seems like these past years of their music has built up to this moment. They really blew up with this new music. I couldn’t be happier for the band and anyone who comes across this masterfully crafted work. Worship

  • As a heavy, deathcore metal listener, I find really stupid to think that you need to hate them just BC they’re edging into pop, with metal. They’re pretty much a mood. I didn’t like the whole album myself but I think the work to compose and arrange the album was flawless, creative and changing.. very much appreciated. Really looking forward to hear more from them.

  • I don’t know the full story of this song and what it means, but it’s been my anthem while i navigate leaving my husband of 5 years. he’s a narcissist and has had me trapped in a cycle of emotional abuse for a year. and this song really helped me through it. it reflects a lot of the emotions i’ve been battling while finally deciding to leave. thank you, Sleep Token.

  • my dog passed the day before this was released and i literally listened to this album ALL DAY yesterday and it’s really helped me feel so much better. sleep token is so good at what they do. the way the can mix several different genres and make it sound so good is incredible. it’s not easy to do. this is easily one of the best tracks on the album for me.

  • The lion roar at 1:42 and the whale sound at 1:59 enhance the atmosphere so much! AOTY for me by a long shot! TMBTE has it all: raw emotion, atmosphere, perfect transitions, absolutely devastating lyrics, really heavy moments contrasting with the ethereal softer ones, and genre-bending. The cycle looping is just the cherry on top, grateful for all the callbacks <3

  • So, I’ve finally had the pleasure to sit with and absorb the third release in Sleep Token’s trilogy of albums, “Take Me Back To Eden.” There are a lot of feelings, and a lot of layers with this album. But I don’t want to simply rehash what dozens of other reviewers out there are talking about. Not that those points are irrelevant, rather, I’d like to speak to what they’re NOT speaking to. Sleep Token writes love songs. Point blank, period. At the end of the day, that’s what these songs are. So if there isn’t a hopeless romantic inside of you, these songs might not speak to you and you can honestly find yourself bored. I’m not here to dispute that. These songs run the gamut from break-up songs, to sexy-time songs, and EVERYTHING in between. And this band will use any method they choose to communicate these messages – be that low tuned, distorted guitars and double bass – or dark synth-pop and trap. Sleep Token does not have time for anyone to “figure them out”, or decide what box/genre they fit in. This album is everything I didn’t know I needed in music. Some of the tracks at first listen were a little out of my comfort zone, but once I got over the fact that they use a method of music that I’m not normally used to – I was able to hear the song for what it was…just great, relatable music that speaks to the human heart and all the ways in which we’ve experienced love, for better or worse. Genre-bending music on this level has been attempted, but never so well done. Take Me Back To Eden cuts through to a part of me that I’m not sure if it was dormant, or didn’t exist in the first place.

  • I’m not used to use superlatives about music, but I sincerely believe that this album will change metal music forever. The composition is so beautiful and uninhibited, with originality, heaviness and so more… It’s been years since I’ve felt that about a band. I feel like I’m back in the days when the world discovered bands like Tool or Gojira… Bands whose music is initially not made to be popular, but whose writing and soul is so powerful and made with such intelligence that the group becomes popular almost against its will.

  • I have listened to this song maybe 50 times as it ended up back-to-back in my play list, so it goes twice in a row. It was not until I was reading the comments that I realized this is an eight minute song. 16 minutes if you consider it always played back-to-back. It is so good that the time just melts as you are consumed, coming out the other side with renewed vigor.

  • Vessel’s voice is the bridge to infinite creativity. People need to take in just how fucking talented this guy is. From the One EP all the way to Take me back to eden, this man has contributed more undeniably bangers than most of the artists living on the planet right now with each one standing the test of time… and i don’t even think he’s 30 years old. This music heals my soul and gives me hope there is still beauty in this world. I fucking love this band.

  • I was introduced to Sleep Token with The Summoning, like most new fans I’m sure… at first you think that must be one of the coolest and most unique songs you’ve ever heard. A year later I find myself gravitating to this one. Each one hits me, and fucks me up, in a different way. This is such a great album!

  • To me, “Eden” in this song is a place of peace. A place of home. Happiness. Throughout the song it grows and lives like a warm forest. Flowers blooming with the sun shining above. Until it all burns away. Eden becomes just a memory of better times. When knees were scraped green and the sun felt like loving hug. Fire burnt the memories away, burnt Eden away, leaving that of a desire. The scream for Eden at the end brings tears to my eyes. The desire and yearning for Eden is palpable, at least to me. I can feel it for Vessel, and I can feel it for myself. A desire for Eden.

  • Kept seeing Sleep Token pop up on my YouTube suggestions, and kept thinking to myself: “Who the fuck is that?” Decided to give this song a listen yesterday on my walk to work, IMMEDIATELY FUCKING OBSESSED!!! Such phenomenal magnificence, art is too weak of a word to call this masterpiece. Will most definitely be checking out more of your stuff today!.. Thank you for creating this wonderful, adventurous journey of a song, and putting it out into the universe to share with us all. What a fantastic gift! Sincerely, a new and very grateful fan 😁

  • Chokehold and The Apparition have to be my all time favourites, but at the same time it’s so hard to pick favourites. Their discography is immaculate. Discovering Sleep Token is probably the best thing that happened to me in a long while. There’s loads of fantastic music out there but only few artists can make me feel like ST do.

  • The universe knew that I needed Sleep Token in my life. I recently discovered this beautiful band during a very tough time in my existence. Music is my medicine. It’s how I heal. I will heal as I flood my body with the vibrations and energy that Sleep token has poured into their music. These songs are forever apart of me now. Entwined with my DNA. I will forever worship.

  • I’ve spent the past few hours having a manic episode wanting to do things. Permnant things. This song coming out at the time that it has… I will never understand how you guys do this but you are officially a reason why I will keep on living another day and another week and so on because I didn’t know I needed you until this moment. This is beauty incarnate and I want more. I’m addicted and I’m happy. I said it earlier tonight that I had forgotten what being happy was because I have someone close to me in life telling me I’m not worth the effort anymore and I almost took it back but I won’t. Because this makes me happy. You guys make me happy. <3 Don't ever stop this train you're riding and I hope to the gods that you keep me just as addicted as I am right now

  • Felt like I’ve been in a haze the last 2-3 years. Finally picking myself up and making changes, some drastic. A really awesome chick showed me another song by this band today, and I somehow found my way onto this one. Stuck on repeat over and over since hearing it. It resonates, somehow with every single thing going through my head right now.

  • I dream in phosphorescence Bleed through spaces See you drifting past the fog, but no one told you where to go We dive through crystal waters, perfect oceans But no one told me not to breathe And now the weightlessness recedes My, my those eyes like fire I’m a winged insect, you’re a funeral pyre Come now, bite through these wires I’m in waking hell and the gods grow tired Reset my patient violence along both lines of a pathway higher Grow back your sharpest teeth, you know my desire I will travel far beyond the path of reason Take me back to Eden Take me back to Eden Take me back to Eden Well, yeah, I spit blood when I wake up Sink porcelain stained, choking up brain matter and make-up Just two days since the mainframe went down, and I’m still messed up Room feels like a meat freezer I dangle in like cold cuts Missed calls, answer phones from people I just don’t trust Mirror talk, fake love But I’ll take a pound of your flesh ‘fore you take a piece of my pay stub White roses, black doves, godmother, rise up I need you to see me for what I have become My, my those eyes like fire I’m a winged insect, you’re a funeral pyre Come now, bite through these wires I’m in waking hell and the gods grow tired Reset my patient violence along both lines of a pathway higher Grow back your sharpest teeth, you know my desire I guess it goes to show, does it not? That we’ve no idea what we’ve got Until we lose it (Until we lose it, until we lose it) And no amount of love will keep it around If we don’t choose it (Choose it) And I don’t know what’s got its teeth in me But I’m about to bite back in anger No amount of self-sought fury Will bring back the glory of innocence My, my those eyes like fire I’m a winged insect, you’re a funeral pyre Come now, bite through these wires I’m in waking hell and the gods grow tired Reset my patient violence along both lines of a path way higher Grow back your sharpest teeth, you know my desire (When we were made, I know It was no accident) (You know my desire) (Tangled up like branches in a flood) I have traveled far beyond the path of reason Take me back to Eden Take me back to Eden

  • After listening for a few times, I found that the “Eden” the singer is referring to seems to be changing. The first two repeats seems to be referring to a person they had a passionate love with and the last one seems to be yearning for the safe space he was in before any of those things happened, before he met his “funeral pyre.” The words, and the singer’s emotions as he sang each lines brought such a compelling story and somehow got me empathizing with the character in the story. From the beginning as he describes the moment he met “that someone”, experienced happiness, experienced passion, to what seems to be a separation and all these emotions and thoughts left behind in the wake of that former happiness. As he tells his reflections and thoughts to this “Godmother,” I can’t help but want to give this character a pat in the shoulder for being able get out all these emotions in a song, and hopefully this would help him learn from this and move on towards a hopefully better future.

  • Ohhhh, that CHORUS. It just reels me in every time. “I’m a winged insect, you’re a funeral pyre, come now bite through these wires….” and when he goes into that tormented distorted screaming at the end it just slaps you hard. The emotion present in his singing and vocal arrangements is simply incredible. I have got to start scoring CDs! EDIT: This one is still on heavy rotation for me, and I pity that one guy who couldn’t tell where the chorus is. If you can’t figure that out, I don’t know what to tell you other than you’re maybe being totally disingenuous.

  • I love how most of this song is chill with some good breakdowns and beats, almost like your hypnotized or in a trans, and then you have the last minute which is just so heavy (and good as hell) it makes me want to break into someone’s house, toast all of their bread and put it back in the bag before aggressively doing their laundry

  • What a horrifyingly beautiful portrait this piece creates. Sanity precariously juxtaposed between the soft whispering willingness to go beyond reason, and the frustrating screams of sacrificing yourself to finally go there only to face denial. The glory of innocence forever out of reach. The realization it was all for nothing.

  • Literally just found out about Sleep Token this morning. Started out thinking… yeah I dont know maaaan….this is almost to experimental for me. It is now 8:30pm and I’ve spent the day growing more and more addicted. I’m damn near 50 years old and can honestly say this is going to be a band that redefines my musical boundaries….

  • Lyrics for those who also want to sing this masterpiece: (Verse 1) I dream in phosphorescence Bleed through spaces See you drifting past the fog But no one told you where to go We dive through crystal waters Perfect oceans But no one told me not to breathe And now the weightlessness recedes (Chorus) My, my, those eyes like fire I’m a winged insect, you’re a funeral pyre Come now, bite through these wires I’m a waking hell and thе gods grow tired Reset my patiеnt violence along both lines of a pathway higher Grow back your sharpest teeth, you know my desire (Refrain) I will travel far beyond the path of reason Take me back to Eden Take me back to Eden Take me back to Eden (Verse 2) Well, yeah, I spit blood when I wake up Sink porcelain stained, choking up brain matter and make-up Just two days since the mainframe went down and I’m still messed up Room feels like a meat freezer I dangle in like cold cuts Missed calls, answer phones from people I just don’t trust Mirror talk, fake love But I’ll take a pound of your flesh before you take a piece of my paystub White roses, black doves Godmother, rise up I need you to see me for what I have become (Chorus) My, my, those eyes like fire I’m a winged insect, you’re a funeral pyre Come now, bite through these wires I’m a waking hell and the gods grow tired Reset my patient violence along both lines of a pathway higher Grow back your sharpest teeth, you know my desire (Verse 3) I guess it goes to show, does it not? That we’ve no idea what we’ve got Until we lose it (Until we lose it, until we lose it) And no amount of love will keep it around If we don’t choose it (Choose it) And I don’t know what’s got its teeth in me But I’m about to bite back in anger No amount of self-sought fury Will bring back the glory of innocence (Chorus) My, my, those eyes like fire I’m a winged insect, you’re a funeral pyre Come now, bite through these wires I’m a waking hell and the gods grow tired Reset my patient violence along both lines of a pathway higher Grow back your sharpest teeth, you know my desire (Post-Chorus) When we were made, I know It was no accident You know my desire We were tangled up like branches in a flood (Refrain) I have traveled far beyond the path of reason Take me back to Eden Take me back to Eden

  • I nominate this for album of the century…Worship. Speechless worship. It’s honesly weird, when you feel so understood by someone you’ve never actually met…the fact that this album was released on the day I finally got the key clarity about why I am like I am and threw on my Sleep Token shirt without even thinking about it, makes it even weirder and better. If this is the end of an era, it’s the beginning of a new one and I am glad I am here to witness it. Ascensionism and Are you really okay and…just every one of their songs break me apart and put me together at once. This albums logo was the first tattoo I got over my faded scars. I’m never going to regret it. Vessel, If your goal was redemption, you’ve exceeded it. Like fallen angel becomes a GOD exceeded. Worship🖤

  • This whole album has been an absolute treat to listen to. Shame so many miserable people are in the comments that cant just enjoy it without shitting on them. Stop being so negative, god forbid its not some other band you’ve heard. Its not your thing, cool, musical taste is subjective. Enjoy it or move on with your life..

  • “Eden” is hands down the Album of the Year, not just in metal, but in all genres, and we’re not even through June. Some day, someone will surpass this album, but not this year. Unfortunately, ST probably do not have enough political power to persuade the Grammys, but in our hearts, we know who really won.

  • Sleep Token has evolved into something way much more than just a band! They are passion, they are love they are lust, they are anger and loss. They are a movement. They are sexual, they are mystery, they are confusion and kink. They are poetry and religion, they are beyond music. They are church and worship. They are blood and air. They are everything I need to ingest to be able to just be! They are meaning in a world where confusion is all, they are my heart my tears my smile my wink, my skin, Sleep Token is the air I need to breath, for I cannot bleed without them, Sleep Token is a movement I know will never die and abandon me

  • It was fun in Berlin guys. Added some awesome new T-shirts to my collection to boot. 😀 Great show! Lovely light work. Great performance overall. It was a damn shame the crowd did not respond to the wall of death call from IV. Oh well, next time! I’ll be there again whenever you guys perform somewhere relatively close again.

  • I hadn’t heard of sleep token until recently, and learnt that the drummer is a guy that was in my year in school. In fact, my first gig when I was 13/14 was playing under Adam’s band. I didn’t know I needed breakables and he leant me his for the gig. Nice guy, didn’t know him well through school but great to see he’s smashing it. Always knew he was a good drummer, didn’t realise he’d got this good
