Jesus is still working on him. At some point he’s going to realize that he doesn’t need a tattoo to express his love for God no more than he needs to carry a sign that says it. Now if you got your tattoos before committing to the Lord that’s totally fine, before my dad became christian he got tattoos, but he hasn’t gotten another since following the Lord. Whether or not someone chooses to get tattoos on their body is between them and God… However, I can not ignore Leviticus 19:28 that says “You shall not make any cuts or markings on your flesh, I am the Lord.” And 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 that says “Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit.” So why put writings or tattoos on God’s temple? I just have to ask one question brother. Did you or do you ask the Lord what He thinks of your tattoos? Do you think you are representing yourself as a holy man of God, set apart from the world? Or would people look at you and think you’re just another guy? I have tattoos. I was raised in the church but I did go into a life of drugs. When I got sober I got a cross on my ring finger to “remind myself” that I was married to Jesus and that way I wouldn’t fall into unhealthy relationships. I realized I don’t need a sign on my skin. I have the Holy Ghost to remind me and God‘s word that I read every day. I have since repented to the Lord and asked Him for a way to remove them. Through many years of praying He has told me that those tats are an example of my life in sin/ in the world. We are called to be set apart and live by Gods standard . No condemnation to anyone with tattoos but if you are born again you shouldn’t be getting any new tattoos . Remember WIDE is the gate that leads to destruction and MANY be those who enter in. Be set apart and be the few that finds the gate that is narrow and leads to life .

As a sister in Christ we are to sharpen one another so do know that I do not judge you but try to lead you to the truth as I would want my Christian family to do so for my sake. Tattoos are an addiction like drugs. The Lord prohibits marking our bodies. I believe because the stripes he took for us were like tattoos. They signified his love for us. He endured pain not for pleasure but as a sacrifice. Then why would we foolishly carve our bodies and endure pain for vanity? Our loving God would not desire for us to inflict pain on ourselves. Leviticus 19:27, 28. The whole chapter of Leviticus is instructing us to the ways of the our Lord God. I hope this doesn’t make you feel animosity towards me even though we don’t personally know each other. We both love Jesus Christ. We are in the family of Christ. God bless you.

Why are you people praising this guy for his tattoos yeah i know he did some of it before he knew the Lord but if when he came to know Jesus as his Lord and Saviour why is he still putting tattoos on his skin and he encourages people to go get tattoos too ….this just wrong the bible talks about putting marks on your skin …..who is he really representing Jesus or satan ….i don’t care who gets mad at my comment but I’m speaking the truth you can’t have one foot in and one foot out …I’ll just leave this here

The Chosen ones those GOD uses and has chosen are not meant to have tattoos For months l was trying to reconnect with your music but ld see tattoos and l thought it’s between you and GOD But recently I heard he has opened portals to his life with other people who are meant to be serving God He said he would not mind if the unborn again did it and l must say this 😢
I am blown away by the positive music praise worship holy ghost revival. its not religions but prayers to great music. kool tattoos and your look and art relates to young people. Really helps them relax around you. I myself love soy burgers in public schools, back when school food used to be delicious. We used to say pledge and pray in school back in the day. Taste is all in the spices. impossible burger way tastier. Sad people dying, that are enslaved working in dirty animal slaughter corporations. Abused sick animals cruelty and slavery greed woke me up, too. But, i still love ya. Try and opt for meat free options or some days abstaining to fast and pray. Im trying to help sweet innocent empathic animals.

It is so sad when we claim to be the light of the world but when the children of the world come to us they still find darkness in us because we are still leaded by the desires of flesh… Other thing is, real God cannot provide for you then his spirit allow you to do something against God’s law. You are proud of your tattoo because the spirit of God has find not expression in your heart to convict you. Even the devil can provide,,,, as long as he will always be there to deceive. The flesh has no glory before the Lord. Heart is the only place that God set for us to give glory unto him anytime we remember of his goodness,, not flesh. I really don’t agree with the idea of ( putting things in our bodies like a mark just to remind us about faithfulness of Yahweh!! ). We sometimes fail to understand the kingdom of God!. People out here really commenting Leviticus 19:28.. Upholding this law means you must also hold all the laws of the Torah, which also mean Leviticus 19:27 – “You shall not round off the hair on your temples or mar the edges of your beard.” Did you shave your beards this morning gentlemen? Don’t judge based off a faulty standard that you don’t even keep. This is a Romans 14 issue.
I’m not judging but im so much dissapointed with this. common man! You are a believer of Christ. You must be a good example to others. Putting tattoos is not 100 percent surely glorify God. If you can’t get a tattoo you can’t cut your hair, your beard, where any of the clothes we have today, plant different types of seeds in your garden, wear make up, etc the list goes on. Jesus fulfilled the law. We are free in Christ Jesus. Just love and forgive one another just as he loves and forgives us. If you say you don’t conform to this world why are you on the internet? Why do you have a phone? Some of these comments are crazy and full of hatefulness which I think our Lord and Savior was very against if I’m not mistaken. You think because you don’t have a tattoo you are any more worthy than someone without? The truth is none of us are worthy or ever will be. That’s why we need Jesus.

Believers with tatts or pierce is a very hard topic to tackle but i think the main question here is : If you think what you are doing is glorifying and lifting the name of the Lord Jesus Christ then do it, but dont use His name as an excuse to do something to satisfy your flesh. 1 Cor 15;31 – i die daily. Christ is forgiving and full of grace but it also said in His word Gal 6:7 God cannot be mocked. We are not perfect but with Christ we are new creation. However that doesnt stop there, we need to make sure to walk His path, be Christ like, live in holiness and be free from sin. Ask God for strength if you are feeling weak and if you think youre bout to do a sin. Ask God for guidance if you ever feel lost. I wont judge this man as Im just a human that been saved by the grace of my Lord Jesus Christ, we all have our own battles that we are facing, all we need to do is to strengthen and remind our brethren bout the words of God, His law and promises. I wont judge this man as i know that only him and God knows the truth. God moves in a way that a man cant even figure out, God has plan for him.

But, and, yes and amen… And Glory to God since last night’s service at Elevation (I attended online- I live in South Africa 🇿🇦) and I have been crying and praying and fading and at some point Pastor Steven Furtick said something and it was like a direct shot deep into me, hot and warm and I thought he was literally talking directly to me* and BOOM, like a light switch, A Flash or ignition of my core started waking up my spirit- my light, and my heart felt opened and so were my arms and i legit cried and sobbed because Holy ghost just hit me like a bolt, and It was like electricity in my bones, I felt the knock of a revelation download waiting for me to answer and click accept to receive – like Bluetooth, or that’s what I call it, God sends Bluetooth revelations, it’s like.
Oh man, my wife and both don’t have any tattoos and that’s the way we like it! God made our bodies and why would you want to change just to be cool? I’m 68 yrs young, a mother of 2…, grandmother of 3, and great grandmother of 1. I have 18 individual tattoos on my arms, so far … B&W and color. I started getting them just over a year ago. My 1st was a large butterfly in color on my left arm. I love what butterflies represent…. Resurrection, Rebirth. I also have 7 small butterflies going up my right arm… all in color, 4 of them surround a Celtic cross above my wrist. The others go up my arm. I’m working on having 2 sleeves… My tattoos are all faith and ancestry related so far. Two are scriptures; 1 John 2:15, given to me in brilliant white across my forehead as I was praying a few years ago and Psalm 121:1,2. I “came across” that one online as I was looking for another scripture to have inked. By the way, I was told it’s painful to be tattooed, but, I found that not to be true… just irritating.
My question is…. if God forbade tattoos in the old Testament why would He condone it now?.It’s The same evil act…experts says that tattoos are demonic and the ink that is used is evil which causes the person using it to crave more tattoos and could become addicted to them…He is singing worship songs but on the outside he represents the world….even the long hair and earrings. You cant serve two masters…
The truth is Jesus died for our sins and He forgive sins if we confess but He never give us freedom to sin, You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the Lord,” Leviticus 19:28.NOTE I’m not against you I love your music but as far as I know tattoo doesn’t glorify God
Tattoos are very much a Heavenly thing. Creatures are marked by Heaven constantly – even the kingdom of darkness marks people. The Old Testament was against people actually maiming their flesh as a ritual that did not honour God. Nothing to do with ink tats that actually glorify God – especially as they’re a fantastic conversation starter and people get saved over them! Besides, judging others for a tat shows we are the ones living in the flesh. I’m on team ink!
Realize that tattoos are extremely normalized now. And not easy to remove or cover up in some cases. If churches stand against tattoos then it will make non believers or those in fence to be afraid to come to church. Similar to judging someone simply based on the color of your skin. Just keep that in mind next time you see a tattoo person in your church.
