How To Build A Tattoo Gun At Home Without A Motor?

4.0 rating based on 188 ratings

This video demonstrates how to create a homemade tattooing device without a motor, which is similar to the one used in the previous video. The necessary materials include wire bolts, pen, nails, tape, hot glue, thumb tacks, skewers, markers, and batteries. The process involves finding a motor that runs on at least 12 volts, with 18 volts being ideal. The motor will have a small shaft protruding from the center, and a small four-hole button.

The project requires a USB fan, a pen (Krink ink marker), hose repair clamps, a mechanical pencil, a low E guitar string, a broken spoon, a small electric motor, a clothes button, an electrical button or switch, and some scrap metal. The components for the tattoo gun include a mechanical pencil, a broken spoon, a small electric motor, a clothes button, and a button or switch.

The process begins with finding a motor, creating the tube, designing a brace, and making a needle. The needle is then cut so that it is angled at a 90-degree angle and inserted through the motor. The needle is then positioned on the motor’s edge, and the needle is positioned on the motor’s edge.

The video concludes by demonstrating the process of creating a tattooing device without a motor, which can be both challenging and rewarding.

  • There’s not enough power to make a lasting tattoo, please dont try this. as you can see the orange didnt hold any ink and if the orange cant then the machine would only scratch and/or damage your skin. The tattoo would only be some light dots on your skin and would dissapear quick. Just go to a proffesional or at least buy a good kit from for example killer ink.

  • Way to big and flimsy to do any real work requiring shading and what not. But that being said this was a really good article on showing what the concept of a coil type machine alot of people think you can only make a homemade machine with rotary motor and then they end scarring someone uo using it cause it moves so fast and has no give. This is a good way to show someone what they need and they can come up with there own ideas and use the proper enamel coated coil wire. But props on yhe good article.

  • That’s a real bad idea. There’s no way in hell I’d let someone tat me with that. Also the only tat machine that has a motor is a rotary tattoo machine. Ur regular tat machines have coils. Which is a metal bar with wire wrapped around it. Which this guy in article basically made a homemade coil machine kinda. I say kinda cause the way he used bolts wrapped with wire. But he didn’t do the wires correctly on the bolts. He tried making them look like coils I guess u could say. Basically he made a FUCKED UP tattoo machine.
